You should be decent to people eating meat, as it is their diet, just as eating only veggies (yuck) doesn't mean you shouldn't lose decency from people.
Darn it all Chris.... this thread needs to be locked not necroed.... let the silly vegans dream about meat being a friend if they want, it's not going to stop people from eating meat.... ever.
I don't know what kind of vegan good you are referring to, but nothing I eat has anything to do with animals being harmed.
to say nothing of what goes into the manufacturing of computers or phones via conflict minerals
the process churns up plenty of suffering. check out the rogan cast w / nugent for deets.
not that i'm judging. you do you. limiting animal suffering is admirable.
When vegetarians/vegans go to events, hosts usually cater for their dietary (have veg options).
BUT if a carnivore goes to a vegetarian/vegan hosted event, should they cater for carnivores with meat options?
Equal rights for all, whether that be diet options for everyone, or diet options for no one.
Hell vegan (disgusting) restaurants can probably make extra on the side including a meat menu for poor husbands or business clientele dragged to a vegan (again, yuck) restaurant
i'm basically on a carnivore diet right now, never felt better ...
lol, I can't believe this guy.
Everything aside, the first point may be stupid, but you can't lie, having meat on the side in a vegan restaurant can add more money to said restaurants, considering that others may have their birthday or meetings there, despite some people not being vegan.
I just had to because I can't believe what I read. its the stupidest idea ever, ever heard of allergies and cross contamination?
many people are vegan because things like dairy can outright kill them, a vegan restaurant is one of the few safe places they can eat where they don't run the risk of dying.
And there is already far too many places to eat for meat, if a vegan restaurant sold meat it wouldn't be a vegan restaurant but just another plain restaurant among the thousands of others, that won't attract customers because why would it? being a speciality restaurant catering towards vegan and dietary allergies makes it stand out and is appealing for the ever increasing number of vegans,
vegan restaurants are already lacking in number and normal restaurants always offer a very restricted limited vegan menu compared to meat and dairy options, thats when you want to risk cross contamination or the chefs messing up the order which does happen.
There is no downside at all to the existence of vegan restaurants and no they should never sell meat for profit, stupid suggestion.
Thats why it would be mainly vegan, but a speciality menu item for non vegans forced to come along to a vegan restaurant (not a huge menu obivously, like just a burger and fries or chicken strips/Mac and cheese)
There is no downside at all to the existence of meat restaurants and no they should never sell vegan for profit, stupid suggestion.
still the same kitchen its prepared and cooked in, and stored in the same fridge and larder.
none vegans wouldn't be using the restaurant and if they did, oh no they can't eat meat for one meal, such a tragedy! If I was to drag none vegans to eat out at a vegan restaurant they wouldn't make a scene and cry about it because their burger is made from seitan and not part of a cows body, they would choose a meal and enjoy it. Just like I don't make a scene and cry about it when they drag me to meat restaurants and all I can choose is a salad against their 3 pages of choices.
come on, you got no better argument than that? You know as well as I not every restaurant caters to vegans just like how a vegan restaurant doesn't cater to meat eaters.
