It is measure of "something," however, it is rendered useless if the person with a high IQ does nothing with it; thus, for my comment: "A high IQ means nothing; I'm sure there are tons of "losers" with high IQ. It's like dying from thirst while there's a glass of water right in front of you but you're just too lazy to grab it."
Also, that class was REALLY boring. Lots of abstract thinking papers, logic puzzles, and for some reason tests with nothing learned in school.
I was glad to get out of it. I learned more getting in-school suspension so I could knock everything out in an hour then raid the library for stuff I wanted to learn. Shane they figured out it wasn't a punishment. I became unpunishable
But common sense is a way better thing to have. Real shame that is a trait that is dying, isn't it?
I'm just saying the top of the crop. Engineers are high up, but still usually upper middle class.
