I've never had a Razor mouse last a year. Logitech will replace your mouse even after warranty, no fuss.
At the moment I have another Steel Series Rival mouse and have had a few problems.
The back button that makes you go back once have from time to time activated twice on a single press. I got around this to make a script that it could only play once like every half second or so.
Other than that I rather like the mouse, it's quite large which is good for my hands.
This is TRUE. I used to buy razer and they only lasted 10 months tops. I bought a utech which is literally the same thing with the 12 buttons but it has already past 2 years of use for HALF THE PRICE.
Screw Razer. Don't ever buy their stuff
Can anyone explain the physical differences between the Logitech and the SteelSeries?
This.
I really enjoyed the Deathadder. I liked the way it felt in my hand, and it had good performance too. I would have given it a glowing review in the first couple months that i had it.
However, 8 months down the line and the scroll wheel broke. I thought, ok freak accident. I bought the 2013 model. Again, it worked great, but again, some months down the line and the exact same break occured in the new one.
I also had bad experience with two sets of kraken headpones, both had the same thing happen where the left can stopped working.
I went back to logitech mice. My 8 year old mx 518 still works as good as it did new, though I've since switched to the g400s.
Razer products can be nice, but they are not built to last.
What Logitech mouse do you use?
