Why don't guys hug each other?

Why don't guys hug each other? Whenever they do it always seems to be a man hug, you know the handshake that transitions into a hug-like, semi-embrace that lasts for like a second. Or if they properly hug it's seemingly only during a really special occation. Ofc, not everyone is this way but in general this seems ot be the matter.

It depends on the person, I hug people all the time, usually guys hugging mean they're close or something has happened, which is totally fine. Usually a handshake will do the job and the hold and then grab is just a medium to make it easier to transition into a hug, it's still fine.
