Why does a flame move when putting your hand near it?
So it's probably a stupid question but I've tried to google it and cant find anything on it and maybe i'm not searching it right. Every time there is a flame like let's say on a candle, if I put my palm or fingers near it (not to the point where it burns me but enough to feel a slight warm heat) I can move the flame. In a sense like if I'm pushing it, i can't make go all over the place but I can make it wiggle. I've tried various ways to prove that it's just the wind moving it so I tried it an a really sealed room, with no air making the flame move and it still happens. I'm pretty baked rn but don't let that discourage you from me understanding science I personally think it's my own heat from my body kinda pushing it, similar to how they say we never fully touch anything because somethings with our atoms keep us from fully touching something and that the atoms or whatever push on us and our nerves give us the feeling of touch. Another weird thing I wanna ask, do you guys ever get goose bumps from people looking at you? It's something I've noticed with me and my nephew but lets say someone slides their finger down your spine, you get that tickle feeling and it makes your back curve. So when someone does that or is near the back of our necks, we get that sensation, it even goes as far as them not even having to touch me again for the "tickle" feeling to happen for me. Even more so, after that they just have to look at my back and I get the feeling again. It's got to the point where I can feel what part of my back they look at. ♥♥♥♥♥ wild, and I've been meaning to ask these questions just to see if anyone has the same thing or knows wtf i'm talking about.

It's called messing around with airflow.

Hot air moves upwards while cooler more dense air is being drawn in, when you move your hand close you obstructed the air from that side causing more air to be pulled in from unobstructed directions.

Fire moves on it's own already. When you move your hand, you're moving the air in the room, which in turn moves the fire if it is in a close enough proximity to be moved by that.

Pyrokinesis is not like that at all and in most cases it takes years of practice just to get to a noticeable level. I'm talking 7-8 years minimum. Most psychic stuff when it comes down to it would not interest a lot of Westerners, as it takes immense time and effort daily just to get noticeable results. Also Avatar isn't an anime, and I will not fight you on this.

It moves because you are interacting with it and the systems that interact with it and the systems that interact with the systems that interact with it.

It's the spirits of the fire telling you to ♥♥♥♥ off or they burn you. Trust me, I am a self-proclaimed in-training shaman.

It's being shy, but don't get too close, or it might unleash.
