Looking for a game with cool combat, movement and (leveling up) progression

Hello, in the past I played the kingdom hearts series and now I'm looking for something like it. I don't really like all the waiting in turn based games. I really like games with a cool combat system that has many damage- and movement options like combo's, items, magic, and cool movement thingies, etc. I also want some kind of progression (learning new moves/abilities) that can be gotten through grinding exp or game progression. I'm looking forward to all the games you guys suggest!

This is a roguelike, and you keep your progression in skills as you keep playing even after you die. The combat makes use of range and timing, and you get different weapon types.

Thanks for the suggestion, ive been playing alot of roguelikes recently. But im looking for a "1 playthrough game" if you know what i mean.
