Death battle said spider-man would win, I think so too, though batman's capabilities and how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ OP he is always depend on the writer lol. Spider-man's powers are just too good compared to batman's gadgets and their intellect is more or less on the same level.

Spiderman would win all he has to do is just shoot web all over batty boy and it is over with. Then spidey can take off batty boy's mask and then kill him. No more batty boy. Then spidy can take over wayne manor and live the good life.

I assume this fight is without preparation, then again idk if it makes much of a difference as they would both prepare for the fight well

Batman with prep is quite literally invincible. That's just common sense.

It's unlikely he wouldn't know about Spider-Man (given the nature of the character and his behaviour). That said, if they were to meet for the first time (without prior knowledge of each other) I might consider it a draw.
