PlayStation Games Are Coming to PC
Sony have just confirmed they are looking at bringing more PlayStation games to PC. So, they can “promote further growth in our profitability” and one way of achieving that is making your games available on more than one platform.

I’ve always known this was going to happen at some point. And, I don’t think this means PS5 games will release same day as the PC version, not straight away anyway. I think at some point mid-way into next generation, Sony will release games for PS5 and PC same day.

What PlayStation games are you looking forward to playing on the PC?.

I’m hoping for any of the God of War games and PS4 Spiderman.

The full Dracula X Chronicles needs to come to steam.
It's the definitive way to experience Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night, and everyone who never played them on PSP totally missed out. The originals were sub-par.

The best Castlevania game is Super Castlevania 4 anyway.
I agree that Castlevania IV is very good, although I hate how you go up stairs in it

The day hardware is so advance a gaming console can do everything a PC can do performance wise I'll go back to consoles for most games.

You won't for the price Sony and Microsoft will want for that, it will probably be labelled as a "gaming console" too

Here's another thing to consider. Hardware is now so poweful and can do so much, it doesn't need replaced within a year anymore. Now it's cutting edge for at least 5 years.

Game engines are so advanced and can do so much now explain to why need a new gaming engine to render the games we have now?

Pricing should reflect lifespan AND it now takes years to develop games and the engines they use to make games are not new. They're busy working on new engines for years maybe even a decade while you're playing the games they made years ago.

It's not like it was 10-15 years ago. designing engines for hardware, coming up with hacks and work arounds just to make something with the limited resources.

These companies that began making graphics cards back in the late 90's as well as coming up with specs for new CPUs have been engineering this stuff to do everything the game engines will demand.

NOW hardware is designed for next generation engines and software. NOW the hardware and software is designed to last for years. 5 minimum. And by then it's running things at high frames with lower set details that don't look that downgraded compared to high.

Much of the Playstation's greatness came from their enthusiastic support and good relationships with 3rd party studios.

They don't have very many 1st party franchises to completely call their own.

But I'd love to play the Ninja Gaiden Sigma trilogy again on PC. (shut up, the sigma versions were great). And we're overdue for Final Fantasy 1 and 2 (preferably the PSP versions) on steam to complete the main series.

Perhaps because they take time developing their first party games and several of them have won game of the year this generation unlike many of the major studios we see that are developing games as a service with lootboxes and XP boosters.

Even Square Enix and Warner Bros are now going for the games as a service model with their new games and they were two publishers that are very well known in the single player community.
Square enix are greedy freaks too i loved them before the collaboration because squaresoft was awesome

When someone buys a business or invests into it they're looking to milk it for all it's worth then discard it.

I never cared for Parasite Eve, but even though Parasite Eve 2 was a bit odd for what it was it was still a very good game.

I never cared for any of their other games. Final Fantasy wasn't my thing, it didn't turn me on.

That wouldn't make sense from a business perspective, as it would reduce sales of the console. I think there will always be a delay between the release of a game on Playstation, and the release on PC. It may just get reduced to a matter of months instead of years.

I agree that it would slightly reduce PS5 sales, but I don’t think it would have that big of an impact on console sales. The PS5 will still sell really well, even if all PS5 games release on PC same day.

If Motorstorm, Armored Core, Infamous 1 / 2 & Dynasty Warriors Gundam
Franchises are properly brought over to Computer like how Heavy Rain was
Properly brought over. I will be very very happy, but if not? Then I can't say
that i'd want anything to hit the Computer Market.

I think these are the only ones I would be interested in coming to Computer.
I'd really have to check to be sure, though.

I completely forgot about Motorstorm. I loved that game on the PS3.

I think Sony is seeing how well Xbox games are doing on PC, so hopefully they will take note and release good ports going forward.

If the prices of PCs are becoming more affordable and more prefered and gaming consoles sometimes take a loss on sales hoping to make up the difference on sales of games ... maybe it would be best for Sony to just offer on both platforms.

I think one of the reasons for this (especially with online multiplayer) would be the advantages of using a PC over the console, and that will affect sales of the console in a negative way

The Shadow of the Colossus remaster would also be really nice to have as well.
