PlayStation Games Are Coming to PC

Sony have just confirmed they are looking at bringing more PlayStation games to PC. So, they can “promote further growth in our profitability” and one way of achieving that is making your games available on more than one platform.

I’ve always known this was going to happen at some point. And, I don’t think this means PS5 games will release same day as the PC version, not straight away anyway. I think at some point mid-way into next generation, Sony will release games for PS5 and PC same day.

What PlayStation games are you looking forward to playing on the PC?.

I’m hoping for any of the God of War games and PS4 Spiderman.

So many good games that I want to play on PC. I want to play Bloodborne, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, and Spider-Man. I did try using Playstation Now for a bit but, I would just rather have the games come to steam.

I second this. This makes a lot of logical sense if you think about this and I honestly don't know why Sony didn't do this sooner rather than later.

There is a chance since Square Enix aren’t a first party studio but the trouble would come in the negotiations with Disney.

If this was psx, I'd care, if it was ps2, I'd care.

This is ps4-ps5 so I couldn't care less. The ips I liked are long dead like monster rancher or azure dreams. Or they are ruined by this point like grand turismo.

Everything else is already on PC

Much like in that thread, I'd love to see several of the PS4 games show up on Steam and/or GOG. Pretty sure that would fare really well for Sony, assuming they port the older stuff first, as Miss Ann Thrope mentioned.

Yeah, PS1 and 2 were a golden age. The PS3 had some good stuff, but Sony's Other OS firmware backstabbing was a big factor in me swearing off consoles entirely.

I want God of war 2 (one of the best games ever made), God of war 2018, Gran Turismo 4, JoJo All Star Battle with all DLC included (the rushed arcade mode sucks, but it's still good for some fanservice), and I "would" want Soul Calibur 3, but I don't even think it's a true exclusive, I think it was just a decision made by Namco probably.
But I'm not really sure that those games will be coming to Steam, since Sony gave a lot of money to disgusting scum lately and since I don't want to support disgusting scum I would not buy anything from their store.
The only game that I realistically expect could be released on PC is GOW2018 anyway. The other ones are too old and JoJo was not popular enough and was not even received well enough (for good reasons I must say, even if graphics and gameplay were fantastic)

The full Dracula X Chronicles needs to come to steam.
It's the definitive way to experience Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night, and everyone who never played them on PSP totally missed out. The originals were sub-par.

Sony will get its cake and eat it too. Get its games on PC, but keep exclusive characters, skins, etc on the walled garden console.
