PlayStation Games Are Coming to PC
Sony have just confirmed they are looking at bringing more PlayStation games to PC. So, they can “promote further growth in our profitability” and one way of achieving that is making your games available on more than one platform.

I’ve always known this was going to happen at some point. And, I don’t think this means PS5 games will release same day as the PC version, not straight away anyway. I think at some point mid-way into next generation, Sony will release games for PS5 and PC same day.

What PlayStation games are you looking forward to playing on the PC?.

I’m hoping for any of the God of War games and PS4 Spiderman.

They're probably going to be porting the older titles first. If they ported the newer stuff there would be little incentive for people to purchase their console.

I'd be interested in Bloodborne, the Last of Us 1, and maybe some of the Final Fantasy stuff.

None of them.

Ouch?

Have you not got a single cross platform game on PC that is on console?

You can keep the last one a ps exclusive, that one sucked.

First one it had better UI, but the frame rate was really bad on the PS3. I 'd like to see a 60 FPS port to PC for sure. I really didn't get into the second one that much and the UI was a turn off.

A PlayStation exclusive is built from the ground up to be a PlayStation game and appeal to PlayStation gamers. AAA games in general don't appeal to me anymore and haven't for a long time, so one meant to be played specifically on a console doubly doesn't.

Well this is all so terribly mysterious? What amazing PC only games do you play then?

PlayStation exclusives are built for the PlayStation and I suspect most of their studios don’t have the time to port games to PC, HZD was ported by Virtuos studios as Guerrilla Games are too busy with HZD 2.

Much of the Playstation's greatness came from their enthusiastic support and good relationships with 3rd party studios.

They don't have very many 1st party franchises to completely call their own.

But I'd love to play the Ninja Gaiden Sigma trilogy again on PC. (shut up, the sigma versions were great). And we're overdue for Final Fantasy 1 and 2 (preferably the PSP versions) on steam to complete the main series.

If they bring the LittleBigPlanet and inFAMOUS titles to PC, I'm sold.

Perhaps because they take time developing their first party games and several of them have won game of the year this generation unlike many of the major studios we see that are developing games as a service with lootboxes and XP boosters.

Even Square Enix and Warner Bros are now going for the games as a service model with their new games and they were two publishers that are very well known in the single player community.
