Resident Evil Code Veronica

Is there a reason this is not on steam? all the other main titles from resident evil are to my knowledge on steam. If you were to play these game in order of timeline you would start with resident evil 0 then 1, 2 then onto resident evil 3 but have to skip code veronica(cause it aint here) to go onto resident evil 4 kinda ruins the overal story of the franchise if you are missing a bunch of the lore from that game

I still want the originals (1-3) on Steam. And the Silent Hill games and tons of other games. It's up to the publisher.

Would be really easy to put them on Steam the PC versions of 1-3 exist, however you need to install a bunch of mods to make them even remotely playable on a modern PC.

Code Veronica was Forgotten. I was such a Resident Evil fanatic I bought a Dreamcast just for that game. By the time it was ported to PS2 it had been forgotten. It just didn't have the impact RE 2 had with the PS1.

As for RE4 killing the franchise I agree.

Let's be real about it though. Resident Evil 1 didn't gain real popularity until after the success of 2. Resident Evil 3 was really just an Expansion or mod of 2. SO overall Resident Evil 2 was the highlight, the pinnacle of Resident Evil. 7 is pure trash just like gaiden. Let Resident Evil rest in peace.

Oh yeah, Zero, I had both Remake and Zero for the Cube. I enjoyed both. I forgot about Zero until you mentioned it.

6 is really good. I just needed to embrace how ridiculous, over the top and hammy the whole game is and enjoy myself. You can probably pick it up cheap I would guess during winter sale.

I like hammy and cheesey RE. Is it better than 5? That's my least favorite so far.

6 is very similar to 5, just some faster action,horrid QTEs that require a controller and button mashing. It's more action then survival horror, like 5 was.

5-6-and RE REV 2 are my favorites.

Homecoming is the only Silent Hill on Steam and it sucks.

Silent Hill 1 and 2 are games I remember beating and actually feeling really scared. Like what the ♥♥♥♥ did I just play?! Cause that was some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up ♥♥♥♥.

6 has 3 campaigns. Each trying to poorly or not so poorly imitate the older styles or not. You get the classic RE survival horror just with a different camera angle but not quite with Leon, the rungunish actiony elements of 5 but with a hint of stealth and getting lost in a way too big open area with barely any landmarks with Sherry and the last with Chris which is basically an out of place clunky cover shooter type from memory with a decent story. Ada is just Ada. Basically solo pure gunplay (She has no melee from memory.) adventure with hints of everything except the open area of a certain bit of Sherry's campaign. This is all based of my terrible memory, so expect oddities. More fun with a friend tbh.
