Elgato HD60 Pro single PC setup help wanted?

I've been looking to get an Elgato HD60 Pro for a very long time now, but I don't know if I should. I simply want it cause obs seems like an absolute bug, and shadowplay is just not doing anything right over half of the time. So the question has popped up, do I get it or not. I have the normal Elgato HD but I'm not using it since I switched to PC permanently a while back, I'm running a fairly decent computer but I can't stop to think 'will the HD 60 Pro do me any good or not' so my question is, will the Elgato HD60 Pro perform good using it for one PC setup only? I'm used to the Elgato software and I hardly like it since it worked a while back, I find the program to work just the way I want it too. So should I save the money or get the HD60 Pro, would it be a good buy or just a waste of money? I appreciate any valid help on this case and once again I will be routing a cable from the GPU to the HD60 Pro and then the monitor I will be playing and recording on.
