Most of the other rhythm games on Steam require a bit more involvement. Anyway, this would be the store category to check out.

I enjoyed Beat Buddy, but it's more of a puzzle/rhythm game.

Agh, I'm not sure what it's called, but there's a great one I heard of, someone might be able to say what it is, but it's a game which does what you want but also generates it to your own music...
Osu has a mode like that if I remember correctly though, aaaand it's completely free.

Was it this game?

Ahah! Thank you! That was annoying me there. I seem to have been slightly wrong there, it's not quite Guitar Hero but it's very focused on the rhythm side of things, I tried it once and I really liked it.

I just googled audiosurf gameplay and the bars the rocket hits are not even in sync with the music.
Kind of. But it's more useful if you actually want to learn to play guitar.

Well, you're not supposed to hit them; you need to avoid them. Also, no rhythm game is going to be perfectly synced up with your music.

Osu!mania. Standard Osu is really fun too if you can get past the initial learning curve.

It would be great to play this song in a game instead of tap on my desk :steamhappy:

Thanks for suggestions everyone.

P.S: It's the same as clicking the pen guys, just want to press buttons in a game

I don't think anyone has made a simple game to just press buttons like you would with a pen, or tapping on your desk yet unfortunately. Thanks for suggestions.

Osu mania is pretty much just that, going from 1 key to 8 keys.

You're right. Can I play my own music on it? Link it to spoitfy or something?
