A “Gaming” keyboard is just a good keyboard with lights. Same with a “Gaming” mouse. It’s all a very intelligent marketing ploy
They're not all cringeworthy orange horrors with fans that blow on your bottom. Some of them(read: expensive ones) are very comfortable, very well built and make great sense.
Mine is just a regular black leather office chair, with the addition of lockable caster wheels and rubber tyres. Which are a godsend when playing racing games, it prevents the chair from moving. Beyond that, it's just a high-end office chair.
Not disagreeing about the marketing aspect, but there are things that the gaming tag offers on peripherals that are not present in regular products. Like Anti Ghosting on Keyboards and Dpi switches on mice.
I'm not one for all the fancy lights either.
>tfw you fell for the mechanical keyboard meme
