Minecraft ATLauncher not running?

When I run atlauncher.exe nothing heppens... Any idea what the issue is? I've tried running as asministrator, reinstalling java, I don't know what else to do. The only reason I'm even posting here is because I've been looking for ever on the internet. I realize Minecraft is a meme, what the ♥♥♥♥ ever. Just help if can and ♥♥♥♥ off if your going ot be a moron.

1. Open the Windows Control Panel, select "Large Icons" from the top-right dropdown and go to "System".
2. Click "Advanced System Settings" in the left sidebar.
3. Click on "Environment Variables".
4. In the lower list, select the entry named "_JAVA_OPTIONS" and click the "Edit..." button below.
5. In the Value text field, find where it says "-Xmx512M" and replace it with a space.
6. Click OK on all windows and see if it works.

Just fixed it by allowing atlauncher.exe through the firewall... what the hell, right? I'll leave this up just in case someone else has this issue and randomly finds this thread

Nevermind, the next day and now it doesn't work again lol accepted through firewall and everything. ♥♥♥♥ MY LIFE
