It's already a great game but with brutal Doom you get full mouse look, updated textures and particle effects, insane levels of carnage and the shooting is some of the best i've ever played in any game.
Also because people have been modding it since the mid 90's there's literally hundreds of free mods, levels and other stuff.
Also try the Quake 1.5 mod, it rocks.
have you tried hexen with gzdoom yet?
- Call of Duty 1 multiplayer (the very first one, before the kill-streak bs)
- Half Life 1 and 2
- FEAR
- Quake
- Medal of Honor Allied Assault
Thief 2: The Metal Age
System Shock
System Shock 2
Serious Sam TFE
Serious Sam TSE
MoH: Allied Assault
COD Games before the company went to toilet
Hexen: Beyond Heretic
Marathon trilogy
Disrupter
PO'ed
Killing time
Just to name a few
well if you install gzdoom, which is free, and put the .wad of your doom or hexen game into it, gzdoom applies all sorts of enhancements, like high resolution which makes the games look absolutely fantastic.. it also adds full controller support, online multiplayer, etc
I had it on PC. Flak cannon for life!
