I mean he's some nerd who somehow has friends and he decides to work for someone and he is constantly showing off his addition and memory skills by adding up prices in his mind, then suddenly there's S O D I UM C H L O R I D E instead of salt because he has to show that off as well and for some reason with that addition/memory/knowledge at his age should not be flipping burgers, no matter how annoying he is. And how does he have friends in the first place? If this were realistic he'd get beat up by a gang and shoved into lockers 24/7 but somehow everyone glorifies him
