Made worse when the original is taken off Steam
Looking at you Metro 2033 (I much prefer the original to the remaster).
I thought some games did that for loading in the background?
By Bots I assume you mean the plague of non players in multiplayer games spamming and the like over the last while; if you mean that instead of the option to have multiplayer servers padded or for practice by official NPCs then fork yes.
Long unskippable cutsences or sequences after death or loading a save that exists after all loading is actually done but they want to show it anyway, that belongs on the list too.
*Cough cough* left 4 dead 2
Why do you play games?
I work hard for the things I make and this lets people just make everything with no effort... Grumble, grumble
Yes, this is most certainly the case. I feel like they significantly dumbed the game down to make it more noob friendly but a lot was lost in doing so. I remember when reaching cap was actually a grind and a major milestone.
Yeah I thought that was weird too, especially considering how bots are usually optional. It doesn't detract from anyone elses playing experience unlike p2w features where if you don't buy stuff, you're literally at a disadvantage to other players who do.
Wonky physics.
Lack of field of veiw.
