English class was probably my favorite because i did a lot of reading at a young age, and enjoy writing.
I love Art, but if we are talking general classes and not electives then I would say sicence. Especially my vet science class I took one year, a lot of fun dissecting those pigs and learning about the animal anatomy.
The thing I hated the absolute most, though, was homework assignments handed back with 25% taken off my grade for not showing my work. Every ****ing time, 75%. I don't show my work because I don't need to write that crap out, I can do it in my head. Writing out every equation is just a waste of my time. Ultimately I just said to hell with it, take your stupid deduction, I don't need this class, anyway. I'll use my SAT scores to gain automatic entrance to college.
The best class of all time was worlds apart: Debate. Every day was a joy. The teacher was one of the few amongst the union drones who could think for herself, so she always challenged us. The kids were the smartest our school had on offer, always good company, and nerdy chicks are just awesome.
Our class time was spent constructing cases, presenting them from both sides in mock debates, practicing for events that included student congress and teen court. Then we'd go on trips to tournaments, which was always nice when you won something, but still fun even if you lost. We learned truly valuable skills that people need every day, like the ability to speak in front of anyone, even large audiences. All-around it was just a hell of a lot of fun.
least favourite: maths. (do I need a reason? lol)
Everything else was useless af. Had to do 8hrs of art a week at one point. Why? idk..
So they said, but they had seen me do it front of them many times. I didn't have a calculator for most tests and quizzes, either.
What they wanted was for me to do the homework they had prepared even though I knew the material, just because they didn't want to do anything different. That's fine, it's not like I could reasonably expect them to teach multiple curricula in one class, and math was a requisite, but it was also their problem, not mine.
Not my problem. Automatic admission via SAT.
