Goth - Loser who thinks they're a bada$$
Punk - Vandal, do not allow on premises.
Scene - I don't know what this is, but it had better not be a thing. It sounds gay.
I am going to go with this.
Emo - My daughter 4 days/week
Goth - " " one day of the week
Punk - " " a different day of the week
Scene - " " the other day of the week
Hope this helps.
Have I mentioned she hates me?
I'm sorry to hear that. Perhaps you'd like a free copy of my book "Hitting Your Kids Works Wonders"
No, that's covered in chapter one "Beat, Don't Bruise"
edit- Oh, I should mention that the book is written under my pen name "Corporal Punishment"
goth-hates everone
punk-hates the way sociatty works
scene-wants to be emo but dosen't hate himself
Physical violence is a last resort. I'm more into verbal abuse.
Ah, the old "oranges wrapped up in a towel" technique. Classic.
I have enjoyed annoying/tormenting her sometimes though. A little while back she was suddenly into metal and death/satanic stuff. I guess I was supposed to be shocked or something. Instead it was "Ooh, I have a bunch of Venom's stuff! They were awesome! Do you like GWAR?" I also got to rub in that I've seen Dio, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Metallica/etc back in the 80s. Nothing ruins your kid's attempt to be "cool" more than finding out your dad is into it.
Violence? What violence? This isn't a fight, it's punishment.
Hey, that's some really good advice! Note to self, be into everything my kids are into that I don't want them to be into.
As for the others, don't really know, never really cared. Strangely enough, there were very few of those at my high school.
