Punk is whatever you want it to be... Punk is all about individuality! The only true poser punks are the ones who say that you have to wear a studded leather jacket, tight jeans, and combat boots, cut your hair into a Mohawk, and only listen to certain bands! To be a true punk you just have to not be a follower

I have enjoyed annoying/tormenting her sometimes though. A little while back she was suddenly into metal and death/satanic stuff. I guess I was supposed to be shocked or something. Instead it was "Ooh, I have a bunch of Venom's stuff! They were awesome! Do you like GWAR?" I also got to rub in that I've seen Dio, Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Metallica/etc back in the 80s. Nothing ruins your kid's attempt to be "cool" more than finding out your dad is into it.

Hey, that's some really good advice! Note to self, be into everything my kids are into that I don't want them to be into.

As for the others, don't really know, never really cared. Strangely enough, there were very few of those at my high school.
