Uplay has detected an unrecoverable error and must shut down crash dump created at
If anyone knows how to fix the problem I'm having on the Uplay client that would be great. The Uplay problem whoever is interested is whenever i try to open the Uplay client i get an error saying:
Uplay has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown. Crash dump created at "C:/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/crashes".
To try and fix that problem I tried:
Updating the Uplay client which means I uninstalled the Uplay client and reinstalled it (Didn't work).
Trying to reset my hosts files (Which only got worse).
Disabling my fire walls completely
On the Uplay client problem all I did was to try and open the client nothing else to make it do what it did.

I solved it. Quite pissed at the solution. If you're on Windows 10 go to your C: drive > Users > (Your user) > AppData > Local > Ubisoft Game Launcher. Once there delete all the files. This fixed my problem. This solution wasn't listed anywhere or provided by Ubisoft and im pissed this is how I fixed it. Deleting all these files will do nothing except just make you login and verify your PC again.
It's worked thankss

if not, install Uplay on a other drive your drive might have bad sectors
If yes, give the exe admin rights.

Thank you thank you thank you!! This worked great.

No crashes in 4 hours, while it was crashing every 20~30 mins there for days. Awesome. Gave you some much-deserved Steam points for this.

Revo uninstaller is your friend, does that kind of thing automatically.

This is a four-year old problem, but still represents a current concern, so...

When uninstalling applications, user-directory files are often not removed. So, local user appdata file entries may need to be deleted by hand when uninstalling some applications that use that directory.

And, it's a PITA. But, it's a solution to many problems where an app says it is "removed" but then looks for and doesn't overwrite data there. All just to save user-preferences and to forestall user reinstall complaints, I guess. (Dunno, not a coder)
