FARCRY 3 VS FARCRY 4

So Farcry 3 and Farcry 4 are both phenomenal games but i am posting this disscussion to debate upon which game is better:)

I would say Far Cry 3 is the best. The thing Far Cry 4 suffers a little bit is that the gameplay is almost the same with Far Cry 3. Although Far Cry 4 adds a lot of other things to the table. Far Cry 4 has better graphics and more things like weapons and skills. However Far Cry 4's story is not that great. Just a man who tries to bring her mother's ashes who is stuck between a war with 2 corrupted leaders and 1 guy who rules the land who is also corrupted but deep down he wants the best for the land and for you as well. Far Cry 3 however has a very good depth into it's story. It's not just some guy who tries to rescue his friends and get out of the island. It shows some character development. Far Cry 4 does not do that. Far Cry 3 shows Jason's insanity growing the longer he stays there.

In my opinion farcry 3 has nice gameplay and a more tropical feel to its habitat and the best villian in farcry and one of the best in gaming history- Vaas and ppl like fc3 so much because they were introduced to the franchise with that game

Farcry 5 is superb too but it doesn't refine the actual gameplay and doesn't introduce more gameplay innovations to the franchise otherwise the story is nice and the different islands for different villians was nice too

At this point of time i think that Insane VR Gamer's answer is the most appropiate but if more people want to come and join the disscusion and maybe provide a better answer then we'll think about it

Vaas would be always the best farcry villian

I liked Far Cry 3 the best. The location was stunning, the story was actually pretty decent and the villian Vaas was iconic. Stealthing enemy outposts from afar was always great fun as was the nature aspect and travelling around in vehicles.

Sadly many of the elements that made that game so good have been saturated among many other open world AAA games particularly ones from Ubisoft since.
