What would happen if America banned Fortnite?
since we got America & India banning that chinese app days ago, what happens if America bans Fortnite for video game violence & money wasting? (And Epic Games making free games that are paid on steam before Epic Games did that.)

After my Nephew is through having an aneurysm about it, he would download the next popular Battle Royale game and forget about it a week later.
Could it be Apex Legends or PUBG?
Call of Duty Warzone is currently the most popular one.

Battle royale not really my type of game. I have no idea what will happen but i like Apex Legend than other battle royale. I like how they manage the graphic, gameplay, characther and even the best one that attract me even i don't really into this type of genre is the finisher move. Wowooowo.

The only reason TikTok is being considered a national security risk is because it's being used by the CCP to spy on civilians. And the only reason that similar services like Facebook and Twitter aren't being treated similarly is because they're American companies. They still spy on you and sell your information to the government, the difference is that they're selling it to the United States government.

I would also lump Google in this but they're going to be hit with an antitrust suit because of election interference and also being a monopolistic entity like AT&T was back when I was a kid. Also the same might be done with Twitter should they manage to locate where the sam hell Jack Dorsey is. All I know is he's in Africa getting high and thinking he's enlightened because he went to Tibet once. ♥♥♥♥ that guy.

Now, that being said, were it revealed that Epic Games were up to similar shenanigans as TikTok, you better ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ believe they would be treated similarly. Same would go for Blizzard and Riot - Tencent has shares in both of them. In fact I think they own Riot outright. Shame, I liked League of Legends. ADC Tristana FTW. Ah well, just the same old ♥♥♥♥ as always. Nixon should have listened.

Tencent has stocks in Epic Games. They don't outright own them. Even if they did, why would you base it on hearsay?

And what even is the point on spying on children?

TikTok is a national security risk because it's spyware, yes. That's not comparable to Facebook and Twitter, who use the data differently. I still wouldn't trust them, but they're a lot more harmless than the CCP.

Also, you *do* realize that while Tencent owns Riot, they don't actually use the games to spy on people, right? I feel like you'd be the kind of person to put on a tinfoil hat because Valorant has a kernel-level anticheat.
