Oh and where should I go? Battle.net would be better for me? LOL
What are you talking about?????
You don't even imagine how many games that at least have a satisfying single player mode are on Steam.

Plus at least my first statement was completely different than the others too.
Battle Royale tropes are stupid even in movies, anime, manga, books and so on. There is no multiplayer in those media. So this can't have anything in common to my other two points, so I haven't repeated myself three times.
I dunno how you messed the quote system up that bad, but keep it up. Meanwhile, this thread is getting too big too fast and I don't feel like having my Notification feed having 20+ each time I look. So, enjoy your conversation...

Toxic describes your hypocritical nature very well, also you were the one who screwed over the intial quote.

For starters I'm not really interested in the genre, I would probably only play a few matches then never play again.

The genre has also become oversaturated, which in the long run is a bad thing for gamers since publishers and developers will try to ride on the band wagon in an attempt to make big cash. It can also lead to developers not making the most of their creativity and passion and as a result we end up getting too many unecessasry and mediocre clones which add little to nothing to the table.

Lastly it does get tiring to hear about something you don't care about all the time. I'm sure everyone knows this feeling and it's understandable why people would go out of their way to express their hatered.

I don't "hate" them. I just don't play them. Multiplayer isn't my thing, and PvP even less so.

And this differs from the countless other Fortnite/PUBG threads, how?

It's a dumb, copy and pasted genre. Most games that are based around it are terrible (fortnite, pubg etc) and those that try to cash in on it by adding it to an existing game often ♥♥♥♥ up badly. (cs go for example, and maybe rdr2, but nothing bad has happened to it yet)

I don't hate them, I mean it's just a really big deathmatch mode. I think people dislike it because it seems like a lazy fad distracting developers from focusing on better game modes. Instead of making a new single player campaign for Call of Duty they simply built the game around battle royal. Again, couldn't care less since I don't play CoD or multiplayer games, but you can see how people view this as a horrible trend...I mean we just escaped a decade of formulaic cover-shooters and bloated cinematic cutscenes.

I'm getting sick of hearing about it everywhere on the internet. I'ts a stupid game mode and should not even be called a game because it's not. What's next Domination shooters, Free for all shooters. And ♥♥♥♥ those Gay ass Fortshite dances.
As my favorite youtber once said; "Battle royale games are boring, bland and repetitve. If you played pubg and fortnite, you basically played them all."

But personally, to me; Battle royales lack an active learning experience. Everytime you start a new match it's from zero. And there's this finality to battle royale games that I dislike. Same reason why I hate roguelikes. Once you die that's it, game over, no second chances, no way to learn from your mistakes. That's why I really like games with respawns, because the game evolves during the match, as you learn and adapt to your enemies tactics and they learn and adapt to yours. The game morphs into something greater than itself during the round.

I played battle royale mode in arma 2 and 3 and tried fortnite as well. Not fun for me.Feels like a total waste of time. But i don't think people hate them people love them.

That hate us ‘cuz they ain’t us.

That’s right, I admit it. I’m a Battle Royale game.

how far did you scroll to find this old thread?
Azami 9/jul./2021 às 19:15
Because the genre requires literally luck. It may take some skill but in terms of overall gameplay? Nah. One time I played PUBG, I literally couldn't find ANYONE. All I did was loot buildings and ran around. I even avoided gun battles. And guess what? I ended up killing the LAST person without effort. All the loot I accumulated was all for nothing.

I don't care how fast you can build a hotel in fortnite or how good your aim is in any battle royal game. Genre is just a glorified IO game.
Can I suggest a skull award for necroing?
Mods take notes & relay them to the Steam devs if possible thanks.
