10% are tired of the genre, the other 90% just hate whatever's popular or polarizing to hate.

1) They are stupid (Battle Royale tropes are really stupid and absolutely immersion breaking)

2) They are boring. People who liked online multiplayer already had deathmatches, what's the point of Battle Royale games anyway? What makes them different than an old deathmatch? Multiplayer games are already boring imo. Any kind of it is boring.. We don't need a new name for something that already existed and was already boring itself.

Hmm, perhaps they’ve had very poor experiences with multiplayer. Defs didn’t go into much detail other than saying “imo” as to why though.

But there is a difference between online multiplayer and posting on an online forum lmao.

An online community is ~90% based on an online game though, it can pretty much have near to the same effect. I just don't understand someone who doesn't like playing with other players, would go on the internet to do the next closest thing.

I do understand there is some difference, it still just urks me. Which yes, that is an opinion, so my apologies...

1. It brought braindeads into our gaming community.

Not hate but it's not my cup of coffee. FPS game easily get me bored. 1-2 hour max i can enjoy the fun while other genre like RPG and MOBA more interesting and challenging.

You don't even imagine how many games that at least have a satisfying single player mode are on Steam.

Plus at least my first statement was completely different than the others too.
Battle Royale tropes are stupid even in movies, anime, manga, books and so on. There is no multiplayer in those media. So this can't have anything in common to my other two points, so I haven't repeated myself three times.

Just not my cup of Tea. I don't like the gameplay and am not particulary found of the type of gamers that gathers up together to play them. Which is pretty much the old crowd who once populated League and DOTA.
