SOLVED Need help with Origin.
Yes, I know i should contact EA support or whatever, but I feel like I'll talk with bots which won't help me one bit. I searched the Internet for solutions and I only found people complaining about it without any solution available. Here's the problem.

It was just another regular day, and then I received an email which said my password has been reset because of weird behavior. I'm not using Origin at all, but my sister wanted to play some Sims 2, so I logged in, installed it and gave her the game. A week later, I get this email with a link for password reset, but link doesn't work, it says something might be changed or moved to another place. Now I can't access my account, it says my password is either incorrect or expired.

Could anyone here give me a good advice that's not "don't use Origin"? I'm afraid it might spread, and I really can't deal with that.

Hm. Did your sister change your Origin password? Aside from that, I would contact EA support about this.

She didn't, she just played Sims 2, and I was the one who turned the game off and logged out of Origin.

Hm, maybe someone hacked your account?

That's what I'm worried about, and I can't find a solution. I can only contact EA support, but they never helped me.

Alrighty. Wanted to ask that just to cross it off the list of "things that could've caused that issue". Unfortunately I don't know enough about Origin to suggest anything else other then contacting their support. Best of luck.

Thanks, I'm going to need it.

You still own the email address to which the password reset goes to, am I correct? Just reset your password using the security questions?

Maybe these can help?

If they don't, make another account and post the OP on Orgin's "Technical Issues" page to see what you get :praisesun:

You see, I got the link with password reset option, but it says that it either moved or is non existing. And according to Internet, nobody is having this problem right now.

Okay, the link suddenly worked, and everything is fine now. Thanks a lot guys.

I'm glad, I think I've had this problem before where it says the link has expired, I think it's something to do with asking for a new one but not getting a new email and the link is no longer valid, eventually a new link will come within the next email refresh time which is about every 15 minutes.
