What are some underrated games that you enjoy?

One of mine is definitely Batman Arkham Origins. Call it blasphemy, but the story was just so much more compelling to me than that of Arkham City. I know it didn't really add any new mechanics, but I can't help but think if it would've come out before Arkham City it would be considered the best of the series

Layers of Fear. A lot of people turn their noses up at it for not being the standard horror game, but I really like the way it unsettled me. It is not disturbing or gory, but it does have a few jumpscary moments. It reminds me of nightmares; some things seem to be pulled from the player character's memories while others seem completely fabricated.

I sunk about 1100 hours into the two Boom Blox games when they came out, and the level sharing community in the second game was absolutely amazing and got downright nuts near the end (mostly because people were hacking to bring in a series of magnetized blocks that were cut by developers late in the game, and people started figuring out how to do blocks smaller than 1x1x1). I loved the labyrinth levels JReflex93 made, and all around am a bit sad that the servers shut down and nobody's even attempted an indie spiritual successor. Not like Speilberg/EA would care, both games sold under 150,000 copies combined and are a footnote in both the director and the publisher's libraries.

Duke Nukem Forever.

Also Battleborn on the topic of underrated games....I honestly feel like it played like nothing else out there and was very high pace. It was marred by some bad matchmaking, some design choices and being launched in direct competition to Overwatch.
