a good rpg/grindy game?
idk I want to play something with my friend and his computer is a potato, so something that isnt high on graphics. Something with the least quests possible or no quests at all, that has a good leveling system, equipment upgrading, going to a dungeon fighting the mobs, progressing through them as u get stronger and repeat it all in the next dungeon. Something that has a party system as well would be nice

Diablo?
How about runescape?

It will run on a computer from 2004 and all of the quests are fully optional. Even the very first one, most people in the game focus on skilling/grinding skills like mining, cooking, fishing, combat and dozens more and dont do any quests at all. Its also free but you may want to buy a membership once you get into level 50 stuff, but at that point you will be invested enough in the game that 10 dollars seems worth it.

Definitely this. Diablo 2 as well.

Baldur's Gate. It's a 90's game, so it'll run fine on a potato.

There's also Baldur's Gate 2, Icewind Dale and its sequel, and Planescape Torment. All of these except IWD 2 have enhanced versions

Guild Wars 2 is a great mmorpg and it's free as well. What exactly do you mean by "potato?"

Diablo is the exact game you're describing. Even Diablo 3 runs on anything.
If one does not mind being required to constantly be connected to Blizzard's servers.
Diablo
Borderlands/Borderlands2/TPS
Destiny 2

Well, considering it's 2018 and literally everything requires an internet connection, that shouldn't be an issue :)

Everything does not literally require an internet connection. The vast majority of the games in my Steam library can be played without an internet connection and I can log in to Steam without an internet connection as well.

Not everything does. I have many games that don't require an internet connection. Game companies are using it as a form of DRM. Online mp games it's fine but not with single player games.

Okay, I stand corrected. Things aren't becoming increasingly connected, demand for online services isn't booming, people aren't constantly online, internet penetration for most modern countries isn't 80% or higher, games aren't almost exclusively digital products now, many games still have LAN functionality, and most popular games are DRM-free :)

You're exaggerating and being melodramatic. Yes, we live in a "connected world" but a massive amount of Steam games and even Steam itself does not require a constant internet connection.

It's the Clash of the Pedants! One uses "literally" in the figurative sense, the other can literally only interpret every word literally! Who will win? Find out today! We'll give you the whole seat, but you'll only need the edge!!

No, you were just being a contrarian for funsies, and you know it :)

And you're being counter-contrarian (which in this context is really just contrarian) for funsies as well. And you're saying the word funsies itself for funsies. Funsies is definitely funsies.

Apart from the already mentioned Diablo series (more grinding, less story) and the Baldurs gate related games (more story, less grinding), you might also consider
