Slayer aren't demonic or satanists.
Watch some interviews with them, they're nice people and their singer is actually a Christian.
Just think of "evil" styles of metal as the musical equivalent of a horror movie, it isn't meant to be taken seriously.

Eh, Tom Araya says he grew up Catholic, but i've yet to hear or read anything to suggest he's a practicing, church every sunday, Catholic.

I'm not a Christian so i don't really care but what i'm trying to say is metal is theatre, don't take it seriously.

I suppose you could say I like the music from song of the south which is a controversial heavily racist movie. The lyrics themselves don't evoke any sort of discrimination though.

The lyric I have an issue with is this:

Any guy that needs or wants his girlfriend/wife to dress up as a little girl is sick. And the fact that she says she is willing to dress up as a lolita is just wrong on so many levels.

I don't usually feel like I shouldn't enjoy something because of controversial content.
Even though there are some songs,or musical movements that I think are bad enough to not enjoy them.The minstrel period of American music is truly off putting.
But just hard subject matter? It doesn't have to be taken at face value.
It's just talking about something.Doesn't mean it's a recommendation.

I do think this song by New Order is great.
It's basically about a kid with a gun.Dark material.
