Favourite games that had their Online Servers shut down.
Honestly. Midnightclub LA was one of my close favourites.

Battlefield 2
NFS World
Demon’s Souls.
It was dead before they shut down but there was a magical feeling playing through and finding another guy, knowing someone out there is playing as well.
club penguin.

that game was my childhood.
Star wars battlefront 2 classic
And they got restarted
Darkspore, while certainly not a great game (about a 6/10 experience) it pissed me off because it could be played in single player, except EA are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and decided to make the game 100% online even though there was no reason to.

As of today, I have basically a useless copy of Darkspore and as far as I'm aware no one has made a "fix" to make the game playable nor is it possible to do so since a significant portion of the games files are with EA.

This is the real reason why I hate EA, they kill games. Sure they've done other bad ♥♥♥♥ (some of which could be considered straight up unethical) But to me, killing games is the worst thing a game publisher or dev can do, especailly if it's singleplayer.

Ditto :( :(
I don't know if the servers still exist but

Perfect world malayasia.

What killed it was Perfect world internation happened. Where that version of the game was made carebear and kiddy friendly. People could no longer pk you unless you enabled Pk. And all that lame BS. The mala version after level 30 you were pk'able anywhere nearly. And each week there were guild wars over territory. If you were a jerk to a major guild expect to pay for it by being unable to level because they would wipe out parties who leveled with you. The international version even added casual friendly +10 billion exp rate cash shop items *spitting sounds*. They also changed the class names sometimes to stupid ones like werefox became venomancer for international.

Even the mala was version was going downhill though. Like they nerfed the cash making pet class hard. First making captured monster eggs sell for nothing. Then releasing cash shop pets so the wild caught and raised ones were garbage. And at that point everyone had cash shop auto potions. As well as a lot of people were high enough level to find out their picked class was trash for what they wanted to do end game.

Still as far as mmo's that I actually played it was one of the better ones,
FEAR although I discovered the game series after that happened. I think I did one MP game years back.
