Halo 2 PC multiplayer

Just thought I'd leave this here for anyone who is big fan of the Halo series. Halo 2 on PC still has multiplayer through a project called Project Cartographer. it usually has enough people to get games going and it would be great for more people to discover this. Also, it's free as well

campaign works as well. It's Halo 2 Vista with support for modern operating systems and has both Multiplayer and campaign

See... It's installed and the launcher is right there between Spelunky and Deadpool.

If you don't already have it, grab the installer and it'll install the necessary files, plus it gets rid of the god awful GFWL

Why would I say that? I got my copy with the Vista launch. Which kind of sucked as I reinstalled XP like a week later and I went and bought a copy of Halo 2 on X-box instead. I was so happy that Win 7 came out.

Or are you referring to the fan version of the game? Oh, that is certainly a legal grey area, but if MS cared, they would nuke it from orbit. They did it for the PC Halo 3 mp game. For about two seconds, then said, to heck with it. It's an upgraded version of the Russian exclusive f2p Halo MP game though. So it was sort of official...

The campaign has always been the main thing in a Halo game for me, but the multiplayer in this game is just the best in my opinion
