Halo 2 PC multiplayer

Just thought I'd leave this here for anyone who is big fan of the Halo series. Halo 2 on PC still has multiplayer through a project called Project Cartographer. it usually has enough people to get games going and it would be great for more people to discover this. Also, it's free as well

The campaign has always been the main thing in a Halo game for me, but the multiplayer in this game is just the best in my opinion

This might be an unpopular opinion, but Halo 4's MP has always been my favorite.

I would have liked it without it aswell but the loadout system convinced me.

I prefer just picking up weapons around
the map compared to a loadout system, felt to much like CoD

Can't wait for the 0.6 update for Eldewrito though, it's gonna fix the sound and performance issues, adds duel wielding, and much more

How do I go about getting Halo CE and Halo 2 on the PC? I'd love to buy them but Microsoft doesn't do anything about it. I'd love tips a complete map on the Dorito thing too.

Only legit ways are ebay and amazon. I have them both, and while Halo was fun on console, the multiplayer is a whole different animal on PC. I weaponised the Warhog tail whip.

As long as it has a CD key, you are fine. The games came out before online key validation. Halo:CE comes in a paper box and sleeve and the key is on the sleeve. Halo 2 came in those old black PC cases that were about 3 times wider than a DVD case. The CD key would be on a card inside.

As for vendors, just check their feedback and remember that ebay and Amazon insure purchases. Just read the product description carefully. If it helps, despite all the years I have been buying used games and hardware online, I have not been screwed once, yet.

If you want Halo 2, then just go to the website I linked and download it, then you can play the multiplayer

I downloaded it and everything but I think you're forced to do the campaign in one sitting. I beat the first mission, but when I tried to load the game after taking a break, it told me to insert the Halo 2 disc.
