this was interesting... but the mysterious illness thing isn't true... I guess the british would like kidnap tribal people to get on their good side (sounds crazy, but it's true) anyway, they took a couple old people and some young people... the old people died... this is a long time ago.. brittish empire days... figure the old people died of exposure to the diseases the brittish had... and then the british returned the younger people... and I since they were carrying the same diseases... it probably started an epidemic on the island... so now the islanders probably just kill everyone because the last time they ran into outsiders their entire tribe got wiped out by smallpox or something...

Oh, I figured it might be something like that.

People are still scary though. Adapted to that earthquake and the tsunami. Murdered a couple of people in 2006.

It's no wonder the island is listed as off limits. The video footage is pretty intimidating.
