Only reason I personally play all my games on hard difficulty is to extend the gameplay a little, it doesn't make me any better at the game than anyone else.
If you're twitching it, make sure you research the game because some games simply cut features out of the game to make it easier such as Alien Isolation, you simply do not have to worry about the alien if you're crouching everywhere on easy whereas on nightmare, the alien sets traps for you on the roof.
And people who get their knickers in a twist over this are just sad.
I know plenty of youtubers who arent that good at a game but still get thousands of subscribers because of their personality.
Best of luck!
I do drop games to easy if I wanna blast through them for some reason, and I do have games I peg the difficulty all the way up. But they are rare. A lot of games stop being my kind of fun and turn to work at high difficulties. It's why I never finished up all the maps for KF on HoE. I could do them fine. They just stopped being fun.
(I had to)
This is why steam achievements have absolutely zero value.
Personally I prefer a challenge. Keeps things interesting.
Actually, most achievements are silly, but some of them are fun to try.
