Is Diablo 3 Worth Buying for Single Player Only?

I don't care much about online, but I like how it looks and I played about 25 mins of the trail and enjoyed it. Just wondering if any of you played it and have any opinions to share?

Is it a good game for single player only and does it have replay value?

It does have replay value. Can make many characters. Get the DLC too.

Its helpful and funner with friends but still god for single player.

Yeah I had just as much fun playing solo as I did with friends. High replayability, yes.

Are there any skill trees or build varieties? If I make multiple characters of the same class, will they differ in any way other than items?

Yes they will. There is alot of ways to build your character, and alot of legendaries to base your builds on.

Alot of people still play diablo 2 online, and offline, including myself. And ofc diablo3, its amazing in depth with customizations you can have. Jesus. A single item can make a difference. Hope you enjoy it and eventually play online once you pass the campaign, i loved both.

I was weary of getting it because people have been saying it's really hard to find lobbies to play online anymore and with all the seasons and stuff I thought the game's main focus was on multiplayer, but knowing I can enjoy it solo is enough for me. I'll look into online too if its still active so yeah.

Been considering playing it again coop with the hubby again. We ran through it once with another friend when it was first out and 2 of the 3 of us got our accounts stolen at the time. That was before they started the Steam Like Authentication so everything should be good to go again this time.

Was just sort of off-putting at the time .

In my opinion yes. Especially since the Rise Of The Necromancer pack just came out. I've been replaying the story as the new Necromancer class and it's awesome. And there are other modes you can play if you don't want to play the story.

Well I just got it on sale for like £8, well £16 with the reaper of souls expansion so it seems like a good deal to me.
