That being said, I honestly do not know any horror games that allow you to play third and first person.. Curious now.
I know Fatal Frame has the option, but I'm looking for others games. If you look at older horror games a lot of them are in third person (ie silent hill, resident evil, fatal frame, alan wake, clock tower, ...). First person was popular among survival horror and shooter games (like Doom), and became more frequent some years ago after Amnesia.
