so i heard people outside the USA cant watch many of the netflix movies

Netflix has more quality original programming. Hulu lets you watch tv shows soon after they air. But Hulu is more expensive if you do not want to deal with commercials.

I choose Netflix overall. Been a subscriber for many years now.

Yes, that is true. Licensing agreements means Netflix cannot show content in certain regions. Even US is blocked from some programming i think.

I am not sure about Hulu, but I imagine they have some restrictions of that natures as well.

I can't tell you the exact rules as they vary from country to country through laws and licensing, so I can't tell you how much you may or may not have access to, but you are correct.
