To me it's the typical internet gamer rage. None of my friends or coworkers talk about such things, not even the two who actually played the game to the end. Stuff like this always only is online an issue.
It's the opposite for me in TLOU2, meaning even if I didn't like the story, the gameplay would keep me going
I think society has this expectation for women to be frail and feminine or they are discriminated against in some communities.
In reality, you only have to look at a woman that does trail running or climbing to see a woman with muscular definition.
However, many male gamers have been conditioned with the image of animated women with unrealistic body proportions that have the sole role of swooning over the Male protagonist.
I can understand how painful it must be to have a console without any mascot, at all. The only one that they could have had and that could have made things IMMENSELY different, Sony decided to...
to...
SELL IT.
Mascots should be even more important than exclusives for a console imo. I'm not saying of course that they are everything, but they are what tie every other thing together and give a console that feeling of belonging that ultimately (should) define what a console is.
And Sony sold it (I don't need to say that I am talking about Crash, right?)
I can understand the pain of those poor Sony fanboys.
The only thing that I cannot understand is... why the hell they still are Sony fanboys. Poor guys that don't even know how it feels to have a console with a proper mascot because they never experienced that feeling maybe...
I mean, even Master Chief is a better mascot than what Sony have now, and imo a character from a game that is not E rated cannot be that great as a mascot...
If Joe/JoeAnne average doesn't like the game, it probably sucks.
Uncharted 4 is pretty cool though
Boy would I not like to be a game critic right now, god forbid I actually say I enjoyed an extremely well-made game
Now that's a constructive discussion everyone likes to see
One game has a good story and rushed ending, the other has a bad story.
One game had Amy Hennig (also worked on TLOU), the other was made after she was fired
