If he celebrated some other country in that weird house ceremony OP described, one would not be wrong to question his mental capacities. It's not really something a US president should be doing.
Attending a different countries festivities is another thing. It promotes good will between nations. But if he started singing "O Canada", that would be somewhat alarming.
As to Flag Burning, it's a finished ruling. People can burn whatever flag they like in the US, as long as it doesn't belong to someone else.
People do not have to value your flag over some other flag just because people died in defense of said flag.
Day of the dead is Mexican, Malcolm Tucker. It's been somewhat appropriated by United States Americans because of the dramatic fashion and art.
A James Bond movie inspired Mexico to ramp things up a bit.
Every single country in the world have done bad stuff in the past. Some have done more than others but what counts is what they are doing today.
I reported it.
Yes its a word I just made it up.
Incidentally I couldn't think of any President who celebrated another countries Holiday like the OP mentioned except many left wing people including past Presidents like Obama have celebrated Marxist Holidays and that's an ideology that's specifically anti-American and foreign so I guess it would qualify.
And many view Obama as a traitor for actions like that. But I think celebrating other countries Holiday's doesn't have to be bad, Hong Kong has celebrated various American holidays honoring us. We''re a symbol of freedom.
The problem I am seeing is that many countries are at the moment too fixated on "past glory" to take on "today's problems" and "tomorrow's projects". You can't lead your nation into the future by trying to go back in time.
"Enduring" freedom. Via the barrel of a tank and the raking fire of A-10s.
Wal Mart's clothing line is called "Faded Glory".
I wonder how many Wal Mart shoppers understand what a blatant poke in the eye, what an intentional insult by China that brand name is?
