I always hear English speakers pronounce it "an-imay." However, if you listen to this Japanese girl, it's pronounced "on-ee-may."

anyway a lot of purists say the only way to speak japanese is clenching your butt like there's a stick up there, and that's really discriminatory against the kansai and ryuku dialects.
