How many years has your longest friendship lasted?

I'm really bad at making and keeping friends, but I met one friend 8 years ago, and she's been my best friend ever since. For whatever reason, she's never given up. I feel so blessed sometimes.

I actually do have more than just that one friend, but she's the longest.

Funny enough, although most folks would think I hate women because I believe in real equality and not this travesty that everyone wants today, all my friends are women... Need to change my tactics on chasing them off, ignoring them doesn't work especially the one I mentioned above.

1 year. He's my closest friend.

I've had people I was friends with for a few years, but once my family moved, we fell out. I also had another "friend" that I knew for a few years, but he was comfortable lying to me and manipulating me, so I broke up that relationship.

Yeah like I said, I know I'm super blessed with her. I never had friends growing up, but she was different. I just wish I met her sooner.

Twelve years, I'm extremely surprised I've held onto a friend for this long. Or rather, she was the one that held onto me. I'm happy I found at least one person with a strong tolerance for my general social awkwardness.
