Just because Americans want to kill themselves doesnt mean that rest of the world wants to do it as well. There has been significant decrease of smoking among young people in Europe, pretty much everybody I know are not smoking anymore or are trying to quit and there are decent enough laws against people who want to kill others with their second-hand smoke.
But with US it doesnt really surprise me since it`s becoming increasingly backwards country since 2016.

I think large part is due to the Witcher 3, which had good sales again following the Netflix series and the release on the Switch.

Let me ask you, why would anyone want to switch to epic even if they had those additional features? Why would you ever do so if you are already loyal to steam?

I'm not asking why loyalty is important, i'm asking why "earning" it instead of using exclusives to get it (Which is apparently not earning it...) is important.

If you have a good store with good services and offer competitive prices people would use your store and you dont necessarily need to "steal" Steam`s clients, new people are born every day and come at age to start using the store they like best.

There is difference between good business tactics and scummy business tactics and Epic is using scummy tactics. You may gain some short-term profits from scummy tactics but companies who endure are mostly those who use good business tactics and try to prevail with quality instead of tricks.

To put it bluntly Epic is Trump, he was scummy businessman and is scummy president and see what that lead to.
