Could Lil Pump be a great rapper?

Well, actually, yes imo. Pump has shown a LOT of improvement since the days when I could write him off 100 percent. I absolutely hated songs like D Rose and Boss, but his new stuff can actually be really exciting or relaxing or whatever. I'd actually even say that Welcome to The Party was not only driven by pump's impressive flow but also his style. Sure you could argue "Well it's just the beat" and in some cases it really is. Early Pump (when he got popular in late 2017) is basically just a beat showcase. Although one of the beats us amazing (Gucci gang), he was admittedly bad here. Since his first mixtape though, he has clearly worked on everything from his flow to his lyrics and it has paid off a lot. IMO if he continues getting better like he is he could fill a similar position as DMX. A rapper who has memorable and great beats but also has passable lyrics.

TL:DR Pump has improved greatly since his popularity spike and I think he could eventually be like DMX or someone like him.
