it's a common misconception that monkeys are humans and vice versa. NO!!!!
We are not monkeys, WE SHARED A COMMON ANCESTOR FROM WHICH ALL PRIMATES EVOLVED FROM

It's sorta like how chickens are related to dinosaurs saying. They shared a common ancestor or divereged from a common ancestor that was either a decendant or a predecessor to dinosaurs and thus they're related.

If that's the case eating a banana or sponges are considered what 50% and 10% cannibalism since you share 50% and 10% DNA with each.

Aside from typical sharing homologous/analogous traits like aposable thumbs, the DNA is 99.9% the same, but that's just the DNA. There are other more important things to consider like proteins and cell formations from said DNA.

No, but I imagine that they don't taste very good. None of the primates sound like they would taste very good.

Depends on what you mean by "Sentient". A lot of Humans i run into are more drone like and some are cybernetically linked to technology through their fingers. Some are de-evolving right before us.
