How Do I Turn ON Minecraft Bedrock Frame Limiter? (SOLVED)
So I have a bit of an issue, Minecraft runs TOO good. Most people complain about frame limit but I have a laptop with a 240hz monitor, so Minecraft runs at 240 fps weather I vsync it or not. It isn't a huge deal as normally I would just turn on a frame limiter using my laptops gpu driver, but this can get annoying if I'm going from one game to another. I would much rather just turn on a setting to forever set Minecraft, and only Minecraft, to 60 fps, instead of turning on and off whisper mode a ton. Java has a frame limiting setting but I can't find any way to do it in Bedrock.

Not very long but here is a TL;DR any way: Any one know a way to purposefully cap Minecraft Bedrock's FPS using its own settings, and not an external source?

SOLUTION: Use nvidia control panel to change max frame rate.

try shaders, they make minecraft much more demanding. Or demanding high rez resource packs.
wouldn't you be better served, I dunno, asking on a Minecraft official forum or mod forum,,, you know where the entire thing is dedicated to minecraft.

At least,,, that would be smart, since everyone there would be there for minecraft.

These forums always get a response fast, other forums usually take weeks for any answer.
limit the frame rate in the cfg
Ok so I found a solution. I randomly just thought of checking nvidia control panel, and it turns out that can be used as a frame limiter. I guess it isn't technically internal to Minecraft, but it is internal to my PC. I just chose Minecraft in program settings, then scrolled until I found max frame rate. I then clicked it and changed it from off to on, then set the fps to 60. Easy as that. And after opening Minecraft I can confirm I am running at 60 fps. Also my CPU isn't overheating from Minecraft like it was at 240 fps.

My PC won't lag from bedrock shaders or texture packs, no matter how much I slap on it, not unless i'm using rtx shaders. Either way I already found a solution but thanks for the help any way.

As BlueNinja2ooo said, I get support on steam way faster. I already had a reply the same day I posted, while on official MC forums it can take weeks to get a response. Thanks for the commenting.

I've looked around the config and all I found was a vsync toggle, nothing in there to change fps. Luckily nvidia control panel has a few more options than MC config files.
