Do you cringe if people use "U" instead of "You?"
I hate it when they use "U", it makes me cringe, here's an example of a sentence that uses "U".

"I didnt even knew it until "U" told me about it."

I wish people would stop using "U".

I dont consider people who write like that as people I respect or acknowledge.

If they're on PC using a keyboard then yes.. it just proves that they're lazy.

If they're on a phone then yes, because auto-correct does it for them and they have zero excuse.

People using excuses like "You're a grammar Nazi!" or "Imagine caring how someone types a word," are just illiterate and should be flogged in the streets for their crimes against the 1%.

In all seriousness.. no it doesn't make me cringe, if you call people out for using 'u' instead of 'you' or something else along those lines, you're just being a prick and should politely or impolitely S.T.F.U for the betterment of humanity.

Admittedly, it's a bit annoying. I don't mind it too much, though. Now, if someone's sentence consisted mainly of text speak, that really ticks me off. Bonus points for bad grammar and no paragraphs.

Honestly, I don't really mind with "U". As long as I can understand what they say, I'm fine with it.

On the other hand, I cringe more when people overuse emojis too much

Nice one.

Nah. I don't like it too much, but I mostly let it slide. I cringe more at other things, like people mixing up your and you're or people misusing the word "literally".
