I'm sitting here listening to music and I'm really getting bored of listening to the same thing all the time lol. I've literally made a skeleton of youtube by getting all the meat off the bones. imo rock is the best

I can agree with that in a general sense. My favorite songs tend to be some type of avant-garde off-shoot of a genre like metal or electronic though.

I too mainly listen to rock, with some metal added in from time to time.

However, when I'm feeling it I listen to a bit of house music as well. I.E, old school Mr. Fingers trax, Fast Eddie etc... from the modern era, to a lesser extend though. Faithless does some of the more modern electronica that I like.

Yeah, more or less the same here. I find myself listening to 80's and early 90's Joe Cocker songs most the time.

Music as a whole isn't degrading, music is just more varied now than it ever was. This means there's more bad stuff to sift through, but also a lot more variety to music as a whole.

I partly agree. Most of today's music is trash because it's just made for the mainstream and for commercial use, but certain genres, like metal, are still full of awesome bands that have talent and produce real and awesome music.
