I use a Logitech G600 for all my games, including FPS games.

How long does it take to get used to all those thumb buttons?

That can depend on the person. But i would say, around the same amount of time for said person to get used to a new controller.

And since most MMO Mouses have very similar layout of thumb buttons. You will get used to a new MMO Mouse almost instantly, once you learn how to use them.

Do you mean MLG players? Or one of those Youtubers, that think they are hots*it at the game.

If this comment meant anything, there would be no market for mass produced mice, only custom mice for "professional" gamers. Your logic is flawed.

mass and logic don't come together well

it took quite a while to get used to, mainly because:
1)the naga was much heavier than the old mouse, which i tinkered with the sensitivity options for quite a while
2)the nagas side (the thumb side) wasnt easy to grip when lifting the mouse which made me feel sluggish in my aiming (not to mention again that the naga was considerably heavier)

It was very quick for me. Within a day or two in my case.
