Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock (not 100 percent sure on Mr Rock ) will no longer tour college campuses because many ( SJW's etc., ad nausea ) , now consider any joke a micro aggression against their micro group.

People no longer have any sense of humor, everything is an attack. I am rather, lets us say, "plump" yet enjoy "plump" jokes.

Most humor is a reaction to pain, there are no safe spaces in real life.

Just because they did not laugh does not mean the joke was not funny, know your audience.

That is a tactic actually, if you can't hold your laughter back as you tell a joke, it's contagious and makes even the worst drop lines hilarious.
Depending on your laugh though, I mean.. I you have a Pokemon laugh.. I'd want to hurt you.

Well for me it usually works like this.

I make a joke or funny comment, for me at least.
Burst into laughter, because I actually find it funny.
Most of the time the other people Start to chuckle/laugh too.
And after everyone calmed down they are like... Damn that was a Bad joke.
But with that sigh that people usually do after a good laugh.
