steel series arctis 3 mic only hearing static
i have recently bought a new arctis 3 headset. the audio was working perfectly, but the mic os only detecting a static and a thud if i tapped it with my finger, but not my voice. does anybody have a solution?

Have you tried uninstalling your microphone drivers, restarting your PC, and then reinstalling the drivers? Which usually happens automatically but might need to be obtained online.
